The brief
ElevenLabs hired Click Play Films to produce a docu-style testimonial film about one of its flagship creative partnerships: the ElevenProductions engagement that localized Headspace’s guided meditations, breathwork sessions, and sleep content into Castilian Spanish, Italian, and Canadian French. The project covered roughly 200 audio files and more than 31 hours of source material, producing close to 93 hours of finished, localized content.
A press release can state those numbers. The film’s job was to do what a press release can’t: let the two people behind the work tell the story in their own voices, and make the audience feel why voice quality matters more in meditation than almost anywhere else.
The production
Produced and directed by Jacob Tanur, with Dustin Perlman as Director of Photography, the film was shot in a single day at Headspace’s headquarters on Michigan Avenue in Santa Monica, on ARRI Alexa 35.
Each principal sat for an individual interview on a dual-camera setup, with framing shifted between the two subjects so the film could cut between Scott Sorenson, Headspace’s Director of Audio and Composer, and Phoebe Drummond of ElevenProductions, while keeping each voice visually distinct. Around the interviews, the day was built for b-roll: sessions at the Pro Tools rig, mic-ups, hero walking shots, and the textures of an office designed for calm, which gave us no shortage of rooms worth pointing a camera at.

The moment
The best scene of the day was one nobody scripted. Scott and Phoebe had collaborated for months across an ocean, shaping hours of meditation content together, and had never once met in person. Their first handshake happened with our cameras rolling. That’s the documentary instinct this format demands: the schedule gets you the interviews, but staying ready is what gets you the film.
The result
The finished film anchors ElevenLabs’ published customer story on the Headspace partnership, delivered as a hero film with cutdowns and social versions. Following the success of the first three-language phase, the partnership expanded to a second engagement spanning nine languages.
