Video Production Services

Video production services

Click Play Films is a full-service video production company headquartered in New York, producing broadcast-standard work for brands, agencies, and organizations. Every service, every format, one accountable team.

The studio

Full-service means we do not hand you off

One producer. One team. Concept to delivery.

Most video projects fail in the handoffs. A creative shop writes it, a production company shoots it, an edit house cuts it, and nobody owns whether the finished piece does what the business needed. Every step loses something, and the client spends the project as a project manager. Webinar production has its own page. Post production services are covered on their own page. Motion graphics services has its own page. Video editing has its own page.

Click Play Films is full-service in the literal sense: producers, directors, crews, and editors under one roof, with a single producer accountable from the first call to the final export. Our team came up making national advertising campaigns, so the baseline we work to is broadcast, and the same standard applies whether the deliverable is a television commercial or a ninety-second customer story.

Selected work

Work made to a broadcast standard

A sample of the commercial, corporate, and brand work our team has produced and delivered.

What we produce

Every video production service, in one place

Follow any of these through to the detail: what it costs, how it is made, and what you get.

01

Corporate Video

Brand films, executive messages, internal communications, and culture pieces for enterprises and fast-growing companies.

Commercial Production

Broadcast and connected TV spots produced to network delivery standards, by a team that has run national campaigns.

Social Media Video

Platform-native short-form content, shot vertically rather than cropped, built to survive the first three seconds.

Testimonial & Case Study

Customer stories that sound like people rather than press releases, because nobody is handed talking points.

Healthcare Video

Patient stories, provider profiles, and pharma work produced inside HIPAA-aware sets and regulated review.

Law Firm Video

Attorney profiles, firm films, and practice area video, written to clear your bar compliance review.

Nonprofit Video

Fundraising films, impact reports, and beneficiary stories, told with dignity and consent that means something.

Brand Video

The film that establishes who a company is and why it is different from everyone else in the category.

Event & Conference

Multi-camera coverage of the day itself, plus the recap film that sells next year’s ticket. Virtual and hybrid event production is covered in detail on its own page.

Recruitment Video

Employer brand and hiring content that attracts the right candidates rather than any candidates.

Training & eLearning

Onboarding and instructional video people actually finish watching.

Animation & Motion

2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, and explainers for products that are hard to film.

How it works

From first call to final delivery

The same process runs every project, whether it is one video or a year of content. What changes is the scale, not the accountability.

01

Brief and Strategy

We start with the business goal rather than the shot list. Who is the audience, what do they need to believe, and where will this live. You leave the first call with an approach and a budget range.

02

Pre-Production

Script, storyboard, casting, locations, permits, scheduling, and crew. Locking details before anyone picks up a camera is what keeps shoot days efficient and budgets predictable.

03

Production

Broadcast-standard crews and equipment. Offices in New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, and Houston, with local crews in markets across the country.

04

Post-Production

Edit, motion graphics, color grade, sound mix, and licensed music. Finished to the standard broadcast work has to clear, because that is where our team learned it.

05

Versioning

Every length and aspect ratio your channels need, delivered together. Captions and sound-off versions included rather than quoted as an extra.

06

Ongoing

Most clients come back. We archive footage and keep brand standards on file, so the second project starts faster and costs less than the first.

Pricing

What video production services cost

Most production companies will not put numbers on a page. Here are ours.

Cost is driven by crew size, shoot days, locations, and how much post the piece needs. These are the ranges most projects fall into. Commercial and broadcast work sits higher, and is priced separately.

01

$3,000 to $10,000

Single video. One location, one shoot day, a compact crew. Executive messages, customer stories, single explainers, and short-form content. Includes production, edit, color, sound, captions, and versioning.

02

$5,000 to $20,000

Brand film or multi-location project. Multiple locations or shoot days, larger crew, motion graphics, licensed music, and more involved post.

03

$10,000 and up

Campaign, series, or ongoing program. Multiple deliverables produced together, which lowers the cost per video substantially. Broadcast commercial production is quoted separately.

The single biggest saving available to any client is batching. Producing six videos from one or two shoot days costs a fraction of commissioning them one at a time, because crew, locations, and setup are shared across the whole set. If you know roughly what you will need this year, bring the whole list to the first call rather than the most urgent item.

Where we work

New York headquarters, crews nationwide

Click Play Films is headquartered in Manhattan, with offices in Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, and Houston. We have covered productions in 48 markets across the country.

That footprint matters for one practical reason: shooting in a city where we already have crew keeps travel, per diem, and freight off your budget. On a multi-location project that difference is usually larger than any rate negotiation.

FAQ

Video production services questions

What are video production services?

Everything required to take a video from idea to finished file: concept and scripting, casting, crew and equipment, direction, filming, editing, color, sound, graphics, and delivery in the formats you need. A full-service company handles all of it in-house. A videographer handles the filming only, and you coordinate the rest.

How much does video production cost?

A single video typically runs $3,000 to $10,000. A brand film or multi-location project runs $5,000 to $20,000. Campaigns and ongoing programs start around $10,000 and drop sharply in cost per video as volume rises. Broadcast commercial production is quoted separately and starts higher.

How long does video production take?

Two to four weeks from kickoff to final delivery for a standard project. Two to eight weeks for larger films, series, and campaigns. Broadcast commercials run four to eight weeks. If you have a fixed date, we build the schedule backwards from it.

What is the difference between a video production company and a videographer?

A videographer operates a camera. A production company takes responsibility for the outcome: whether the concept is right, whether the direction gets a usable performance, whether the edit persuades, and whether the finished piece does the job the business needed. If you know exactly what you want filmed, a videographer may be enough. If you need the thing to work, that is a different service.

What is included in the price?

Pre-production planning, scripting support, crew and equipment, direction, all quoted shoot days, editing, color grading, sound mix, licensed music, captions, and delivery in every format you need. Travel, paid talent, stage rental, and specialist equipment are quoted separately and itemized up front, never added later.

Do you work with agencies or only direct clients?

Both, and roughly evenly. Agencies bring us in as the production partner on work they have already sold. Brands without an agency use us for creative through delivery. We are comfortable executing someone else’s boards and equally comfortable developing the concept ourselves.

Can you travel for a shoot?

Yes. We have offices in six cities and have covered productions in 48 markets. Where we already have crew, travel costs stay off your budget, which is usually the cheapest way to shoot multi-location work. Where we do not, we travel.

How many revisions are included?

Two rounds of edit revisions are standard, which covers most approval processes. If your organization needs more stakeholders in the review, or works inside a regulated approval process, tell us at kickoff and we build it into the schedule and the quote rather than surprising you later.

Who owns the footage?

You do. You receive the finished deliverables and, on request, the camera originals. We archive projects so future work can reuse existing material rather than reshooting it.

How do we get started?

Tell us the goal rather than the specification. Most useful first calls start with what the business needs to happen rather than what the video should look like. We come back with an approach and a budget range, usually within a day or two.
